SUPERVISION
As a supervisor, I can be helpful when:
  • Your client has a diagnosis or multiple co-occurring diagnoses
    I help you make sense of the case, develop a case formulation, and turn it into a clear treatment plan. I can help identify which therapeutic approaches and tools may be the most appropriate
  • You suspect that your client may have an underlying diagnosis, but you are uncertain
    I help you recognize important clinical signs, understand when a referral to a psychiatrist or another healthcare professional may be needed, and make more informed decisions. This is not about diagnosing — it is about knowing when further assessment may be important
  • You are unsure where to start with a complex case
    I help you make sense of complicated cases by separating different layers of the work: crisis, trauma, personality dynamics, and potential risks. We develop a clear treatment strategy — what requires attention now, what can wait, and what may be better addressed later
  • Your client is experiencing an acute crisis, and you are unsure how to respond
    This may include suicidal thoughts, self-harm, a significant worsening of anxiety or depression, impulsive or destructive behavior, loss of control, or disorientation. In these situations, therapy requires a shift toward crisis intervention, with a focus on stabilization, safety, and restoring basic functioning
  • You need support in working with intense and difficult client states
    Aggression, shame, dissociation, addiction, suicidality — I help you develop ways to remain present and engaged while avoiding both rescuing and withdrawal from the therapeutic relationship
  • A client case has affected you emotionally, and you need space to process it
    I help you explore what happened, understand your reactions, and return to a grounded professional state — staying connected to your feelings without being consumed by them
  • Your client is also working with other professionals, such as a psychiatrist or medical specialists
    I help you navigate multidisciplinary collaboration — understanding each professional’s role, responsibilities, and how to work together effectively
  • You want to clarify your professional position and strengthen your boundaries
    This may include questions such as:
    • which clients or cases are the right fit for your practice;
    • how to structure the therapeutic frame;
    • where your responsibility begins and ends in complex situations;
    • how to maintain boundaries when they become blurred;
    • how to work with clients who repeatedly require more time, attention, or involvement than expected — and other challenges of clinical practice
    • как быть, если клиент регулярно затягивает сильнее, чем нужно и в любых других рабочих вопросах
